![]() In this lovely nook of the woods stands an art room. An art room lovingly managed by a well-loved teacher. I began this plein air painting because, of course, I'd naturally gravitate toward this area of a campus. (Plus the roof lines are pretty interesting.) However, before I finished, circumstance revealed to me that I had made this painting as a gift to honor that well-loved teacher. Thank you for everything, Mrs. Katona.

You sure do get architecture. It would bring reassurance to the designer to see they'd communicated their vision to someone, what an eye you have for line, depth, shadow and mass. cant help but think I rather see your picture than the building itself; like see into designers vision.. Thanks for the refresh on the world around us.

After a month, looking again at this painting. It is all eye and line and both of them so cleamn and strong. Once more, my compliments and my congratulations (and a heavy dollop of my envy).
